Vianette Thurston

Hispanic ERG President, Talent Acquisitions, Fannie Mae

Vianette Thurston is an energetic and creative professional from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Vianette has worked at Fannie Mae for six years and is currently Talent Acquisition, Operations Program Manager. In her role, she has established innovative approaches to managing new hire onboarding operations in a remote environment using problem-solving, data analysis, and process improvement experience to deliver exceptional results.

Outside of her official role, Vianette has been very active with Fannie Mae's Hispanic ERG since she started at Fannie Mae. She transitioned from a lead with the HERG Event Work Stream to President of HERG in 2022. During her presidency, Vianette and the HERG Leadership focused on creating cultural connections in a virtual setting, encouraging members' career development and cross-collaboration between ERGs and the enterprise. This year, many HERGs programming focused on raising cultural awareness about the Hispanic and Latino community and how they are valuable to achieving Fannie Mae's mission.
