Managing Director Business Information Security Officer for the Commercial Bank Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, Global Technology, JPMorgan Chase

Rosa Ramos-Kwok is a Managing Director and is the Business Information Security Officer for the Commercial Bank in the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization. Rosa previously led the Global Technology Strategic Programs organization and was the Head of Technology Risk and Controls when she joined the firm in 2019.  Rosa’s technology career has included Financial Services Executive Leadership roles in Software Development, Technology Infrastructure Management, Production Management, Technology Risk Management, Governance, Resiliency and Testing.  Rosa co-leads Women on the Move in Tech and co-chairs the North America  Adelante (Hispanic/Latino) Business Resource Group.

Rosa joined the firm from Bank of America where she was the Managing Director, Senior Business Executive, Global Technology and Operations.  She was the Senior Technology Executive/Head of Global Wholesale Banking Technology, AML and Operational Excellence and led the technology software delivery for the Wholesale Banking businesses in Global Banking and Markets (GBAM). She was responsible for leading a global organization and a multi-million-dollar budget to deliver technology solutions for Legal Entity On-boarding, strategic migration to Pega/CLM for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Relationship Management, and Deal Accounting for Investment, Commercial, Corporate, and Business Banking. Prior the GBAM role, Rosa was the Senior Technology Executive/Head of Consumer and Shared Services Operations Technology where she led technology software delivery for the Enterprise Shared Services and Consumer Servicing and Operations organizations. Rosa led the AML program across Consumer and Wealth Management as well as the digitization of the Collections and Complaints systems.  In addition, she spearheaded the Governance of a multi-million-dollar technology transformation portfolio to modernize the bank’s Software Delivery, Infrastructure Platform (internal cloud), Technology Services Management, and Data Platforms.  Rosa first joined Bank of America in 2014 as the Chief Technology Officer for the Global Wholesale Bank where she oversaw the migration to IT Services Management as well as implementation of a new Lock Box system.  Rosa also co-led the Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) Diversity and Inclusion Forum as well as the GT&O Hispanic-Latino Advisory Council.

Prior to Bank of America Rosa had a 20+ year career at Morgan Stanley (MS).  Her most recent role was Managing Director, Enterprise Production Management and Head of Americas Enterprise Infrastructure. She was responsible for the management of the production environment for the Institutional Division, which included End User IT Service Management, Service Desk (L1), Executive Service, Infrastructure support and monitoring services (L2), Institutional Branches Service Management, Enterprise Command Center (Incident, Problem, and Change Management), Service Quality Management, Production Management Technology/Engineering, Technology Training, Disaster Recovery and the transition to the ServiceNow platform.     Rosa rose through the ranks at MS beginning her career as a Technology Trainee and was promoted to every level up to Managing Director.  She was the first Hispanic promoted to Managing Director in Technology.  Rosa chaired the Latino Employee Network.          

Rosa has received numerous recognitions throughout her career. She was identified as one of the Top 10 Female Engineers in the US by Business Insider, one of the top 50 Latina's in Corporate America (ALPFA), one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in Technology (HITEC), and named to the HITEC and ALPFA Hall of Fame.  HITEC also awarded Rosa with the Estrella Award in 2021 and Bloomberg Linea recognized Rosa as an influential Hispanic in 2022.
